ACTIVITIES OF CCPC in the Session 2024-2025.
- • On August 31,2024, CCPC, GC Haripurdhar organized a lecture on “ Women Hygiene” under Mahila Surakasha Mission in association with Tiens India International Health Industry. The speaker of this lecture was Smt. Geeta Singh.
- • On September16, 2024, a guest lecture on banking and financial inclusion was conducted in association with the representative of the Reserve Bank of India. Vital information on the functioning of RBI was given.
- • A five day basic computer training programme was organized by the CCPC unit of the college from 07 October to 11 October 2024 to enhance the basic computer skills of our students, which are essential for their academic and future career development. The resource person for the session was Dr. Sarita Tahkur, AP Commerce, G.C. Haripurdhar. The training was a mix of theoretical lectures and hands-on practice.
- • On October10, 2024, a guest lecture on “Developing Proficiency for Competitive Exams” was organized by the CCPC of the College. The key Speaker for this session was Ms Tanya Thakur, Asst. Professor at Shoolni University, Solan who understood the importance of time management and goal setting.
- • On 7 March 2025, Students of GSSS Haripurdhar students visited to G.C Haripurdhar Campus. This was an initiative taken by CCPC unit of G.C. Haripurdhar. During this visit, an opportunity was provided to school students to explore our college campus, library and computer lab and gain hand-on-experience with various resources and technologies.
- • The CCPC organized a guest lecture on the topic “ Union Budget 2025” on March 14,2025 to educate students about the key highlights and implications of the budget o various sectors, including entrepreneurship, healthy, education, and employment etc. The guest lecture was Dr. Geeta Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce and Management, GGDSD College, Chandigarh. She delivered an insightful lecture on the key feature of Union Budget 2025, focusing on government’s vision for a “Viksit Bharat”.
- • An online guest lecture on “Understanding and Combating Drug Addiction” was organized by the Anti- Drug Committee in collaboration with the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of G.C Haripurdhar on March,15 2025. The guest speaker was Dr. Sangeeta Kakkar, A Psychology, Shoolni University, Solan who raised awareness about drug abuse and its various aspects, including symptoms, causes, effects and treatment.
- • On March 20, 2025 a lecture on “Health Hazard due to Drug Abuse” was organized in the college to educate the students to stay aware, stay safe from drugs. The guest speaker for the same was Sh. Chaman Soni, Health Educator, CHC, Sangrah. The speaker spoke about the dangers of drug abuse and stressed upon on locally used and easily available substances.
